What is Partners In Care?
Partners In Care is a Physician owned Management Services Organization made up
of three Large Physician Organizations: United Medical Group (UMG), Central
Jersey Physician Network (CJPN), and Vista Health System (Vista).
Who owns Partners In Care?
Partners In Care is owned by 70 physician shareholders of the United Medical
Group (UMG). Partners In Care is not owned by nor a subsidiary of any hospital
or other healthcare organization. Partners In Care does not own any physician
practices.
How is Partners In Care Governed?
Partners In Care is governed by a Board of Directors which consists primarily of
physician members of the United Medical Group.
How is Partners In Care Managed?
Partners In Care’s management team has an average collective
experience with the company of over eight years. The majority of the management
team has been with the company since its first year of operation and each member
of the team possesses a minimum of 15 years experience in healthcare
management. The management team works in close collaboration with both a
Physician Advisory Group and a four member Physician Executive Committee to
ensure that all initiatives meet the high standards of the Partners In Care
physician leadership.

What are the
technological capabilities of Partners In Care?
Partners In Care maintains a robust, HIPAA compliant
technological environment which emphasizes enterprise-wide secure mobility.
Partners In Care uses Microsoft® software, Compaq®/HP® servers PC’s as well as
other top brand hardware. Partners In Care custom developed its Comprehensive
Health Plan and Clinical Performance Reporting program and maintains its own
data warehouse. Partners In Care personally maintains all of its systems and
does not outsource any information technology function. Partners In Care’s
technological infrastructure is designed to ensure client security (physical and
electronic), connectivity, scalability and redundancy.
How do I join
Partners In Care?
Because Partners In Care is a physician organization only
licensed physicians are eligible to join. Furthermore, physicians must meet the
credentialing criteria which include a minimum of Board Certification and the
willingness to participate in PIC’s health plan contracts. To inquire about

How do I become
a shareholder in Partners In Care?
Currently Partners In Care is not offering shares to existing or
new members. Partners In Care periodically evaluates the need to expand its
shareholder base and may offer shares in the future.
