Dr. Tucci is a well-respected physician with over 25 years of experience running large private practices. A Board-certified Internist, he is one of the 69 original Partners In Care shareholders and has served on the Board of Directors since 1999. Drawing upon his wealth of experience successfully managing patients with chronic and complex illnesses, he spearheads the company’s innovative Population Health Management and Care Coordination programs, which were the first of their kind in New Jersey. These programs were created using evidence-based strategies derived from his practical experience. Dr. Tucci currently oversees the development and implementation of data-driven quality metrics to ensure that the company’s 700-plus provider network is continually meeting or exceeding its goals of delivering better health, better care at a lower cost.
Dr. Tucci has a long and impressive track record of treating patients with chronic illnesses, and in particular, those suffering from diabetes, heart disease and hypertension. Consequently, his practice serves a high percentage of Medicare patients and those with chronic conditions. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Tucci serves on the staff of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Saint Peter’s University Hospital. He has worked at both hospitals for over 25 years.
Dr. Tucci completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and an American Board of Internal Medicine Diplomate.
